Position Overview

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES: 
•    Disassemble, repair, and assemble customer hydraulic cylinders in a temperature and contamination-controlled shop environment.  
•    Refer to service manuals, diagnostic software, and parts books to identify problems or malfunctions and verify repair specifications and required parts.   
•    Verifies warranty information for parts still under warranty and handles return of core and remanufactured parts.  
•    Performs failure analysis on all components.  
•    Prepares all required forms and reports, such as work orders, warranty information, and SIMS reports; charges out time, orders, and returns necessary parts. 
•    Participates in all job-related training and applicable development classes to maintain the current knowledge base on machines serviced by NMC. 
•    Performs planned maintenance inspections and safety and operational tests on equipment per guidelines.
